These terms apply to your use of Social Itinerary, a group travel planning web app operated by Natalia Akin as an individual. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. This is a beta draft and may change.
Beta service
The app is an early beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and data could be lost. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Please use test trips and don't rely on it as your only record.
Eligibility and your account
You must be 18 or older. Keep your sign-in details secure and give accurate information. You're responsible for activity on your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you add (trips, ideas, comments, photos, receipts, expenses). You let us store and display it to the people it's shared with so the app can work. Only upload content you have the right to share.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the app for anything unlawful, harassing or harmful.
- Don't try to access trips, accounts or data that aren't yours, or interfere with the app's security.
- Don't upload malware or sensitive information such as full card numbers, bank details or government ID.
Money and payments
Social Itinerary only helps track who owes what. It does not hold, send, receive or verify money and is not a payment service. Balances, receipt scans and suggested payments are estimates — check them yourself. Payments you make through Venmo, Zelle or any other service are between you and the other person, under that service's terms. We are not responsible for payment disputes between travelers.
AI receipt scanning
Details read from receipts by AI may be wrong. Review them before saving.

Links to external services (such as Venmo, Zelle, Apple or Google Photos albums) are provided for convenience. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy.
Trip plans
Itinerary entries, reservations and cost estimates are entered by users and may be incomplete or out of date. Confirm bookings directly with the provider.
Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time and request account deletion by emailing us. We may suspend access for misuse or end the beta.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or travel and payment issues arising from use of the beta.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the effective date above. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
